Our 4 favourite Suzuki Hayabusa videos

Published: 13 February 2017

The legendary Suzuki Hayabusa turns 18 this year, and that's all the excuse we need to open up YouTube and watch some of our favourite videos featuring the Japanese powerhouse.

Onboard the 2008 Suzuki Hayabusa

There's nothing quite as simple and satisfying as an onboard video during a top speed run. This video was filmed with our Senior Road Tester Adam 'Chad' Child onboard. Watching a needle sweep round a speedo will always be way more satisfying than watching numbers get bigger.

Fast Bikes Mach 3

A real classic from the days when sportsbikes and top speed were king. The boys from Fast Bikes take a Hayabusa, ZX-12R and Super Blackbird to the continent and what ensues can only be described as utter madness. Get some popcorn and settle in for 45 minutes of absolute hedonism.

A 500bhp turbocharged Hayabusa

Hayabusas are fast, so it's a good job they have a huge fairing to hide behind. It's daft enough removing the fairing and trying to hold on. But how about removing the fairing, adding a turbo charger and upping the horsepower to 500bhp? The infamous Ghost Rider did just that and struggled to keep the front whel anywhere near the ground.

Hayabusa vs ZZR1400 vs S1000RR vs RSV4

Old school hyperbikes versus new school superbikes for the ultimate performance crown. Did the likes of the Suzuki Hayabusa and Kawasaki ZZR1400 become irrelevant with the age of the new superbikes?
