Off-road licence holders get £130 off top-of-the-range footwear

Italian boot brand TCX are offering all UK off-road racers an amazing discount on their range-topping motocross boots.

The deal sees all ACU licenced riders get a whopping 35% off the rrp of the firm's flagship Comp Evo Michelin boots, reducing the price down from £379.99 to just £249.99. That means racers will have an extra £130 free to spend on tyres, engine parts and race entry fees.

The special promotion is open to any UK competition licence holder and will run until 31 March 2017. Licence holders simply need to show their valid licence to a participating TCX dealer in order to purchase the boots at the massive 35% discount.

Designed with the specific needs of both novice and professional off-road riders in mind, the top-of-the-range Comp Evo Michelin guarantees maximum performance, safety, comfort and appearance. Key features include the new Double Flex Control system (DFC), which houses an independent PU ankle frame to improve front and rear flexibility of the leg and offer excellent protection against impact. The system integrates a fastening band that follows the mechanical flex of the ankle joint, allowing a precise ankle hold for better riding performance. The upper features a PU bootleg, which is integrated into the DFC system, enveloping the calf and keeping out mud, dirt and gravel.

The CE-certified boot fastens using four adjustable aluminum buckles with an ergonomic design for easier opening, even with gloves. The Comp Evo Michelin features the new, high-wear resistant Michelin MX Hybrid sole, developed in conjunction with Michelin. Inspired by the french tyre giant's Multiway 3D tyre, the sole not only guarantees maximum traction and stability but also makes the boot lighter and more sensitive.
