As the last hurrah for the aging Z50, aka the Monkey bike, Honda have released a special edition to celebrate 50 years of the little rebel, but they're not bringing it to the UK.
The 50th anniversary Monkey is powered by a four-speed fuel-injected 49cc air-cooled motor that puts out a whopping 3.3hp and 2.5ftlb of torque, although it does only weigh 68kg.
It comes in Magna Red, with Shasta White highlights, along with a 3D emblem on the tank and a 50th anniversary logo on the seat and key. Honda are making 1800, but since they won’t be officially available in the UK, you’ll have to import it yourself if you want one.
Standing at 850mm, the Z50 is shorter than the seat height of some adventure bikes, while you'll be perched just 600mm above the road on the monkey bike.
The Honda monkey will cost 352,080 Yen, or £2519.91.
