Suzuki’s new Phantom finish for the GSX-S1000FZ
Suzuki are out to scare the high-vis brigade with new GSX-S1000FZ Phantom paint scheme
Suzuki have given their GSX-S1000FZ a dark and menacing makeover for 2018 with a Phantom finish available for the popular sports tourer.
The GSX-S1000 and GSX-S750 will also be available with the all-matt black finish, with the wheels, forks and engine all getting the dark treatment. Even the exhaust doesn’t escape, also coming in black to really help complete the look of the Phantom. In fact, the only colour featured anywhere on the bike is the subtle, dark red detailing that outlines Suzuki’s logo and the GSX-S name.

The stealthy finish is enough to make the ‘Polite’ riders have palpitations upon first looking at it on a dark evening, if they’re even able to see it at all. We think it looks pretty badass, and we know Batman would dig it too.
If the dark destroyer look isn’t quite for you though, it’s super-naked variant, the GSX-S1000 will also join the GSX-R1000 with a new colour option for 2018. The new white, red and black finish looks oh-so-classy if you ask us.
Finally, finishing the GSX-S model colour updates is a new red and black livery for the Japanese firm’s 750 variant.
The new colours will be dropping early next year. If you want to check them out before this you can see them for yourself at Motorcycle Live, which opens this coming weekend at Birmingham’s NEC.
