Prescott Bike Festival postponed until June

The recent poor weather has seen the Prescott Bike Festival, which was due to be held on the weekend of April 14 and 15, postponed until June 16 and 17.

The decision was made by the festival’s organisers after the recent spell of wet weather left the ground conditions too poor to hold the event. And with even more rain scheduled this week, they were left with no choice but to delay the festival until mid-June.

“It has always been our goal to host Two Amazing Days – One Winning Weekend,” said a spokesperson. “We know that we could not deliver this promise if we were to proceed next weekend.  We feel that, rather than relying on wishful thinking, that it’s better to reschedule to a more favourable and warmer time in the year”.

All Advance Ticket holders, Run the Hill Entries, Competition Winners and Exhibitors will be contacted by the organisers directly via email. However if you have any queries in the meantime, the organisers can be contacted on Prescott Bike Festival website by clicking here.

The rescheduled event is planned to have all the same attractions, which will include a special ‘Electric Avenue’ showcasing electric bikes, loads of ex-race bikes and historic machines, a stunt show, beer tent and over 100 trade stands. And best of all, the rescheduled date is Father’s Day, so it is now a great way to treat that special father in your life!

All proceeds from the festival go to the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes and Severn Freewheelers. For full details on the event, click here.
