Bike season 2018 is in full swing and if there’s one thing we enjoy as much as riding motorbikes, it’s talking about them. Here’s a list of events to get yourself to this month and do just that.

1. Boston Bike Night – July 5

Location: Central Park, Boston, Lincolnshire

The Boston Bike Night will take place in its new home for the first time this year due to the sheer quantity of bikes set to attend. There will be exhibitors and food and drink available, but remember to watch out for the speed cameras on the way into Boston, should you attend.

2. VMCC Festival of 1000 Bikes – July 6-8

Location: Mallory Park, Church Rd, Kirkby Mallory

Described as the ultimate classic track weekend, the Festival of 1000 bikes offers the opportunity to ride around the original Mallory Park circuit (without later additions like the chicanes) on classic machinery. There’s track session available for both road silenced and race machines, or you can just go along to watch and soak up the atmosphere.

3. Spyder Riders Ride In – July 8

Location: Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum, Bashley, New Milton, Hampshire

Not strictly a bike event, but if you ride a Can-Am Spyder this is the place for you. Spyder riders get discounted entry to the museum, too. The event runs from 10am to 3.30pm, but visitors are welcome to stay until the museum closes at 4pm.

6. Beezumph 27 – July 13-14

The annual rally of the Triumph Trident and Rocket III owners club in North Wales. The theme for this year’s event is ’50 years of triples’. Camping is available from Thursday night through to Sunday.

7. Ladies Ride In – July 14

The Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum has organised a Ladies Day on Saturday 14 July, inviting women from all regions to come along and join them for a free-to-attend event.

8. Moto Time Attack – July 14-15

9. Summer Classic Bike Show – July 15

10. British Historic Racing Club meeting – July 21-22

This classic race series comes to North Wales. It’s possible to take part in the parades or races if you have the right machinery and licences, or you can go and watch.

11. MCN Scottish Festival – July 21-22

New for 2018, the MCN Scottish Festival promises to be a cracker. Join us for one of the days or make a weekend of it and camp over from Friday through to Monday.
