Rugby rivalry has spilled off the pitch and onto the mud, as Six Nations star George North of Wales took on English pundit David Flatman atop a pair of Triumph motorcycles, before the real test begins in the big match on Saturday, 23 February at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

The duel took place at the Triumph Adventure Riding Experience at the foot of the Brecon Beacons in Wales, with both players riding Triumph Tiger 800 XEs they pit their skills against one another on the rough stuff.

Tests included slow-speed riding around cones, techniques to maintain momentum over bumps in the terrain, and picking up a dropped motorcycle. There were also plenty of skids, too.

Keep an eye out for part two of the series, where the pair get their hands on the newly-released Scrambler 1200. MCN will be attending this course ourselves soon too, so stay tuned for the review...
