After 24 years of training motorcyclists – including MCN road testers for over a decade and 100s of our readers – Mark Edwards has retired.

Previously serving with Thames Valley Police for three decades, the former traffic cop was the face of MCN’s rider clinics for years – having worked as part of the widely respected Rapid Training team since 1997, as a founding member.

Mark has been training riders for years

“The best thing has been meeting all the great people who have become our customers and friends over the years,” says Mark. “I found that talking to other riders about riding and trying to analyse situations made me a better rider in the process. I am sure that I have learned far more than I have taught!”

It’s this modest approach that endeared Mark to all his students and we at MCN wish him well with his retirement.
