Peace of mind for Honda owners as firm launch six-year transferable warranty

1 of 2

Honda Europe have announced a new warranty scheme of up to six years, providing owners continue to get their bikes serviced through authorised dealerships.

Announced on Wednesday, April 2, the new scheme is open to road-registered Honda motorcycles only and extends coverage past the standard two-year period. It will be available for up to a maximum of 72 months from the date of first registration.

Owners must continue to follow the official scheduled service and maintenance schedule to receive the benefit, with the warranty extended in 12 month increments after the initial two years. The extension occurs once the bike has been serviced and logged on the Digital Service Record.

On top of this, the warranty itself lives with the bike, rather than the owner – meaning it can be transferred across to a new rider at the point of sale. It’s available at over 800 dealers in 14 mainland European countries, plus the United Kingdom.
