The Overland Event returns for 2025 with guest speakers, demo rides and more planned

The 10th annual Overland Event returns to Oxfordshire this summer following a one-year hiatus.

Set to take place August 28-31, the motorcycle travel festival will be held at the Hill End Centre, with entries capped to maintain an intimate atmosphere for attendees.

This year’s lineup includes 37 well-travelled explorers, including Kinga Tanajewska (@onherbike), who has been riding solo around the world since 2015, as well as Chris Scott, who authored the Adventure Motorcycle Handbook and co-founded the recently launched Trans Morocco Trail – among many other accolades.

The weekend includes expert-led talks, travel films, and workshops covering everything from tyre repairs and crating a bike for shipping to first aid and photography.

Visitors can put their skills to the test with demo rides – including optional off-road sections – or take on the MotoSkills obstacle course.

There’s also a bike show and book signing to look forward to, as well as free tea and coffee all weekend, plus live music each evening.
