Brit rider Jonny Walker delivers incredible Erzberg performance aboard four stroke Triumph enduro

Triumph’s recently revealed TF250-E road-legal enduro bike has made strong opening showing at one of hard enduro’s gnarliest proving grounds, taking sixth at the 2025 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo

Piloted by British extreme enduro specialist Jonny Walker, the near standard Hinckley-built TF 250-E was one of just 14 machines out of 500 starters to complete the gruelling 35-kilometre main event in the four-hour time limit.

What makes the result so remarkable is that Walker’s Triumph was the only four-stroke machine to reach the summit of the mine – finishing 37 minutes behind winner Manuel Lettenbichler, who was riding a KTM. Fellow Brit, Billy Bolt finished second on a Husqvarna, with Mitch Brightmore in fourth.

“What an amazing race!” Walker said. “The bike was absolutely brilliant and didn’t miss a beat. To come here, to the toughest extreme enduro, and finish inside the top six on a four-stroke with the minimum of upgrades, I’m over the moon.”

“What Jonny accomplished today is nothing short of remarkable,” added Triumph Head of Global Racing Programmes, Ian Kimber. “To take a bike fresh from our production launch event and finish the toughest enduro race in the world in sixth place is truly incredible.”
