2010 Triumph Sprint GT launch

MCN Chief Road Tester, Trevor Franklin, is currently in Scotland around the area of Inveraray riding Triumph’s latest 1050 Sprint model.  

The new Sprint GT is Triumph’s touring focussed version of the faithful Sprint ST. This bike has received a host of updates to make it their flagship touring machine, priced at £9,499 the bike comes with large panniers as standard, complete with top box rack and pillion friendly grab rails (top box available separately).  

Other areas of the bike have been changed for pillion purposes with the new lower one piece seat and the use of a side mounted exhaust silencer – the Sprint ST has an under seat exhaust. A host of other detail changes can be read about in today’s issue of MCN (19 May).
