We’ll be riding Suzuki’s hotly-anticipated GSX-R125 at Silverstone’s Stowe Circuit at its European launch next week.
The bike uses a 124.4cc single cylinder engine producing 14.8bhp and tips the scales at just 134kg, giving the baby GSX-R a claimed best power-to-weight ratio of any 125cc in the A1 sportsbike class.
This should help the bike to launch and steer easily, which is important when you’re only 17 and limited to a 125cc machine.
Away from performance, the £3999 (launch price) L-plate compliant Suzuki comes with keyless ignition and a full LCD dash, which is sprinkled with useful touches such as a fuel gauge and gear position indicator. Suzuki also boast a claimed MPG figure of 122.82.
