Yamaha's standard MT-10 was already one of our favourite bikes, but with the SP version Yamaha have moved the game on to further the heat on the competition.
The SP version comes with semi-active Ohlins suspension which makes it much easier to personalise the MT to the roads you ride and how you ride them. Our Senior Road Tester Adam Child was impressed when he rode the MT-10 SP at the launch in South Africa, but he reckons the biggest problem with the new bike is that the standard bike is almost as good.
The SP looks much the same as the standard model, so no matter how good it is, the bug-eyed sci-fi design will still split opinion.
