Aprilia Futura recalled

APRILIA has recalled all of the first batch of Futuras in the UK because of a possible loose nut.

A fault with a machine on the production line in Italy has meant that a retaining nut in the generator assembly may not been tightened to the correct torque rating. If not corrected it could work loose and cause damage to the generator unit, although Aprilia has not had a confirmed case yet.

The cure involves checking and tightening the nut and takes minutes at a dealers. Details: Aprilia Customer Care line: 01776 888670.
