Ghezzi gives us Guzzi in another guise

1 of 1

Ghezzi & Brian’s latest Guzzi-based creation has been put on show in Italy.

The Furia combines the proven Guzzi V11 Sport engine with Ghezzi’s own Supertwin 1100 frame – a steel box-section design incorporating the air box.

However, the Furia gets totally new bodywork and suspension to emphasise its sporting intentions.

The forks are Paioli upside-downers, while the rear monoshock comes from Ohlins, and both ends are fully adjustable for compression, rebound and pre-load.

The bike’s power might come from an old-school Guzzi V-twin, but its braking is courtesy of a futuristic rim-mounted disk, 420mm in diameter.

Ghezzi claims the bike can manage around 140mph, and tips the scales at less than 190kg (418lb).

No price has been announced, but don’t expect such an exclusive machine to come cheap.
