Mondial claims first owners will get bikes within a month

Mondial is claiming the first of its new superbikes will be delivered to owners within a month.

The firm used the Milan Show to finalise a dealer and importer network. The finalised bike has revised injection. Four injectors work separately, two at low revs and all four only kicking in when the revs rise beyond 8000rpm.

The bike is expected to make more than 130bhp from the Honda SP-1-based V-twin motor and weigh just 168kg. It is thought it will cost in the region of £10,000 to £11,000.

So far we have no official importer listed for the UK but Mondial assure us one will be named in the near future.
