Ducati reveals 2004 Desmosedici

1 of 1

Ducati unveiled its new 2004 Desmosedici GP4 MotoGP bike in Bologna today (February 4).

MCN’s Chris Jones was there and will bring you a full report on all the changes to the bike in the next issue of MCN, out on Wednesday, February 11.

Ducati says 60 per cent of the 915 components that make up the bike are new compared to the bike racing in 2003. Troy Bayliss and Loris Capirossi will ride the new bike in the 2004 season.

Neil Hodgson and Ruben Xaus will use last year’s bike – at least initially. Ducati says the new parts are not interchangeable with the old bike.

Vittoriano Guareschi has already been racking up test miles on the new bike and will continue that work throughout the year.
