American cruiser maker Viper has announced a deal for Performance Assembly Solutions to make its bikes and engines at Livonia, Michigan.

The big V-twin engines, including a 2500cc version, have been designed in the UK.

Viper plans to continue its product design, development, marketing, and dealer service from its Minneapolis headquarters. The firm says the deal gives it access to all the engineering, manufacturing and machining expertise it needs.

Performance Assembly Solutions already does work for Ford and General Motors.
