Argentinian Hondas?

Honda will start producing motorcycles built in Argentina in mid-2006, via subsidiary honda Motor de Argentina S.A.

The production facility will be located in Florencio Valera in buenos Aires and will produce 15,000 bikes a year, starting with the Honda C105 Biz, a Cub-type bike which is popular in Argentina.

The motorcycle market has grown hugely in the the country, from 13,000 in 2002, to 164,000 from January to November, 2005. Hond aexpect to sell around 40,000 bikes in Argentina in 2006.
