
Piaggio Fly lands
Piaggio has launched 50cc and 125cc versions of its new Fly in the UK.
The 50cc has a two-stroke engine with a two-way catalytic converter, the 125 is a four-stroke. Both use a rigid steel tube frame and 12in wheels with front disc brake. Seat height is 78.5cm.
There’s useful bag hook at the front of the seat and under-seat storage space to accommodate a helmet. The glove compartment in the front shield offers space for small items.
The instrument panel includes a clock and calendar and The Fly 125cc is also fitted with an electronic immobiliser.
You can choose from Classic Black, Dragon Red and Excalibur Silver and accessories include a windscreen with hand covers to provide additional protection from the weather, and a 36 litre top box with a handle and quick removal mechanism. On the 125cc model this top box is fitted as standard.
The Fly is available now at £1549 for the 50 and £1999 for the 125.
