Rod is Wright choice

Ex Arsenal and England legend Ian Wright has picked up a new Harley Street Rod. Wright was joined by his step son - and current England international - Shaun Wright-Phillips when he visited Thames Valley Harley-Davidson in Maidenhead to pick up the £10,995 VRSCR.

Wright - best known for his work as a TV front man these days - is a long time Harley fan. He famously had a Harley tattoo drawn on his thigh during his playing days - as the next best thing to owning a bike. Football bosses ruled that he must not ride during his playing days.

Wright said: "I wanted to try the new Street Rod as soon as I head about it. I like the Roadster style and a lot of people are talking about this new bike."

Thames Valley Harley-Davidson's Paul Stephenson said: "Ian's a great customer of ours, we're more than pleased the new Street Rod has caught his eye."

He added that test rides are now available. Call 01628-788188 for details.
