Ducati 'Hypermotard'

1 of 1

These are the first pictures of the Ducati ‘HyperMotard’ concept bike, which has been revealed to the press for the first time at the Milan Bike Show.

It features a stripped down look, with a 1000cc Dual Spark engine, twin exhausts, 50mm Marzocchi R.A.C. forks and an Ohlins remote reservoir shock.

Other highlights include magnesium engine covers, and a single-sided swingarm. Stopping comes courtesy of a 320mm Brembo at the front and 240mm disc at the rear, halting the Marchesini racing wheels.

Ducati has said that it will build the concept bike if it gets enough positive response. So what do you think of the new Hypermotard? Is it the sort of bike Ducati should be building, and would you be tempted to buy one? Post your comments by following the Related Topics link, right.
