06 Suzuki muscle cruiser

Suzuki is preparing to unveil a new ‘muscle cruiser’ for 2006 – the Boulevard M105. Updated October 3

U.S. sources suggested it may be rolled out at a Suzuki dealer meeting on that side of the Atlantic on October 2.

One anonymous motorcyclenews.com user reported: “Suzuki just shot their video for the Suzuki Dealer Show of all new Suzuki M-109 (sic) in Seattle, Washington. Bike is quite unique, in the fact that it is the first of the Japanese cruisers to go to the 240 size rear tyre, has a sleek modern style to tank and side panels, drag style bars with risers to make them comfortable, low seat, digital instrumentation. Should be quite a show stopper for this type of bike, especially coming from a Japanese maker. Expect the most hp in its class, motor has more modern touches to valve train, pistons, cylinder heads more like SV technology. Should be a winner.”

Few details have yet emerged but the Boulevard cruiser series is made up of the Marauder and Intruder models in UK showrooms – sharing models with Kawasaki as part of the now defunct Suzuki-Kawasaki tie-up. If the 1700cc M105 really is a ‘muscle cruiser’ it is likely to feature styling closer to the 1600cc Marauder.
