You can now get a 10 per cent discount on fully comprensive insurance for top-of-the-range scooters with insurance firm Bikesure.

With high end Vespas costing over £3000, and super scooters like the Honda Superwing weighing in at almost £6000, the prospect of third party insurance or huge premiums can be a worry.
