Harley's Euro sales surge

European sales of Harley-Davidsons have jumped up 15.6 per cent in the second quarter of 2006 compared with the same epriod last year.

Overall the figures for 2006 are up by 12.5 per cent, with 20,635 bikes sold, as opposed to 18,353 in 2005. And the figures arrived just after the launch of the entire 2007 Harley-Davidson range, including the announcement of a completely new 1584 Twin Cam engine for the Touring, Dyna and Softail range.
