New scooter hits UK

The 125cc Peugeot Satelis, revealed by MCN at the Paris Show (Click here), has now made the journey across the channel and into British dealers.

The Satelis has been designed to offer the best drag coefficient (0.42) to help performance and fuel economy, and it also has wide-angle rear mirrors, and dual halogen headlights. And the remote control opens the seat and tail unit to provide storage space for two full-face lids, in additions to a generous glove compartment. See a video clip of the boot in action. Click here.

Beneath all this is a steel dual cradle chassis, 37mm front forks and a 260mm front disc. The four-stroke liquid-colled motor develops 15bhp, delivered by automatic transmission. And the fual tank should give around 325 miles to empty.

The Peugeot satelis is available in Metallic Silver or Metallic Black for £2599. And the Executive version, with anti-lock ABS/PBS braking, costs £2599. It comes with a two year warranty. Contact: 01202-823344.
