Cheap insurance on 50s

Aprilia is offering bargain insurance for 16-24-year-olds on its 50cc scooters with Third Party insurance costing just £49.

Third Party Fire and Theft is available at the subsidised rate of £149 for the SR 50 and Mojito 50 (£249 for the Sonic 50). The offer ends April 30, 2006.

The SR 50 R and SR 50 R Factory has been updated for 2006 with a new lean-burn exhaust system and a new frame. On top of the classic under-seat storage compartment it now has a second compartment in the nose of the seat with an extra litre of space.

The 2006 SR 50 R Factory comes in black, silver and yellow and a limited edition in racing blue and white. It costs £1999 on the road.

The SR 50 R’s engine is carb fed and has no security transponder and different clocks. It comes in at £1699.
