Honda's all new Hornet

1 of 1

Honda has launched an all new Hornet 600 for 2007 with an engine derived from the 2007 CBR600RR.

The new bike is totally updated with radical new styling, a new frame and a 101bhp motor.

The engine was developed alongside the CBR engine but has been smartened up to be on display in the naked bike as well as being retuned for midrange torque rather than the 118bhp top end of the CBR.

The exhaust is the most radical departure from the old bike, loosing the high level can in preference to a low down stubby system with a unique pipe arrangement that makes the front of the bike look quite different.

The Hornet will come with both ABS and non ABS versions and should cost around £5500.
