Bike trip 2009

Me and Mark set of on the 16th of Aug to see some sites in europe namely:

1. the Nurburgring,what a massive place and you can see that F1 is coming with its obscene amounts of money, it’s even got a roller-coaster that goes through the main building.

2.The Kaunertal Glacier in Austria/Tyrol.lovely twisties up to the Glacier and camped at a fantastic hotel in the valley below it.

3.the leaning tower of Pisa, where a chap on a cruise who was visiting for the day was amazed that we had rode all the way there to see the tower and that we were still only halfway into our tour and on our way to Monaco.

4.Monte-carlo and its Casino,Where a hotel porter in a silly hat nearly took my camera off me for taking pictures while on the bike riding in front of the Casino, they dont like noisy bikes lowering the tone of the place so we hastely went round again.

5. the Millau viaduct.on the way to the Millau Viaduct it rained ALL day, over 400 miles of it from the south of france coast over the bridge and onto Montlucon, it eased a bit just enough to take these pictures.successfully did all five, in total 3110 miles in 12 days, unfortunately didn’t have room to fit in a copy of my favourite read MCN.
