Britain’s newest manufacturer Mac Motorcycles will have a working prototype within months and bikes for sale by spring 2010, MCN can reveal.

It will commence production of its first prototype – likely to be the Spud – within weeks and believes it will set out the company’s stall as the next British motorcycle manufacturer.

A second and third prototype – the Ruby and Peashooter – will be available by the end of the year and production should commence soon after.

“We know these are sporting deadlines, but we think we can achieve them,” said company founder Ellis Pitt.
