Reborn bike firm JAP asks MCN readers: “Name our bike”

1 of 2

British engine firm and one-time bike manufacturer JAP is back after 101 years in the wilderness and they want your help naming their new bike.

They’re building an exclusive range of bikes based around an updated version of their classic twin-cam 50 degree V-twin. You can read the exclusive first ride of the first bike to break cover – a 1300cc street bobber – in this week’s MCN (13 April), but you can help the name the bike now.

Les Card, son of JAP-tuning eminence and brand owner Alec Card says: “This is a all-British Harley-beater and it needs a fast, powerful, British-sounding name. We can’t think of anyone better qualified for the job than MCN readers.”

You can vote for your favourite, or submit your own suggestion here. We’ve had a stab already, but if you don’t fancy any of them, simply enter your preferred name in the box marked ‘Other’. After it’s been checked it’ll be posted in the poll for other users to vote on.
