New Harley-Davidson Softail Convertible

1 of 1

MCN editor Marc Potter has just ridden the new Harley-Davidson Softail Convertible from the company’s Custom Vehicles Operation – the department where Harley engineers sit and stroke their beards and come up with outrageous versions of their standard showroom bikes.

This CVO Softail gets a 219cc increase in engine capacity from 1584cc to the Screamin’ Eagle spec 1803cc.

Traditionally CVO bikes take on the bigger engine capacity a year before the standard road bikes, so you could regard this as a production prototype for next year’s bikes.

Read the full test of this £23,490 bike in next week’s MCN, out on April 14.
