AJS surprises with super-cool custom 125s

1 of 2

These two, super-cool looking customs aren’t one-off hogs from California or Orange County Choppers – they’re the latest production bikes from Britain’s AJS and are a learner-friendly 125cc!

The black machine, dubbed the DD125-9 ‘Bobber’, is a full-on, hardtail (ie there’s no rear suspension, although the saddle is sprung to provide some comfort). It’s in classic, old school ‘bobber’ mean ‘n’ moody black with cast alloy wheels and conventional forks. Like all recent AJSs its built in China  and is powered by the firm’s usual liquid-cooled, 125cc four-stroke parallel twin.

The white machine is the DD125E-5C ‘Daytona which features the same basic engine and chassis but with sprung rear suspension, inverted front forks, wavy front discs and a decent amount of chrome.

The Bobber is priced at £2999 otr, while the Daytona costs £2699. For more details checkout: www.ajsmotorcycles.co.uk.
