Honda Crossrunner group test – next week

Honda’s new V4 gets put to its biggest test yet next week – exclusively in MCN!

The class-defying, ‘crossover’ machine has already proved controversial for seeming, to some, little more than a re-clothed VFR800. It’s also proved difficult to pigeon-hole by being neither a ‘true’ adventure machine due to its lack of off-road ability nor a conventional road sports-tourer.

That said, at it’s world launch last month, the Honda newcomer impressed thanks to it’s revised and invigorating V4, easy manners and true versatility.

But where does the Crossrunner fit in? And how good is it exactly? To find out MCN took the new Honda on its biggest test yet – to Scotland and back – in its first group test, alongside a broad spectrum of rivals including KTM’s SM-T, the old VFR800 V-TEC and Triumph’s impressive new Tiger 800.
