New Triumph ‘Steve McQueen edition’ debuts

This special-edition version of the Bonneville, dubbed the ‘Steve McQueen Edition’ has just been unveiled by Triumph and will go on sale in 2012 – but only while stocks last.

The bike has been designed to pay tribute to the late Hollywood star’s love of Triumph motorcycles and will be limited to just 1100 examples.

It’s based on the current T100 but has been restyled to mimic the 1960s Triumph Trophy TR6 which featured in both The Great Escape and, off camera, was raced by McQueen to great success.
