Indian Motorcycles reveal three new bikes

1 of 1

Indian Motorcycles has launched three new variants of the all-new Indian Chief in America today and in a few hours MCN will be testing each version.

The Indian Classic, Chieftain and Vintage all share the same 1819cc V-twin and are the first bikes to emerge from the relaunched firm following the purchase of the Indian name by Polaris Industries in 2011; the same company that owns Victory.

Indian is making no bones about the fact it is gunning for Harley-Davidson with the new bikes which are just the start of a new series of bikes over the next few years to give the Indian brand a complete new start.

MCN is at the world launch of the bikes at Sturgis in South Dakota and will be riding all three variants in a few hours with initial riding impressions posted as soon as we have had an opportunity to ride the bikes.
