BMW have announced prices for the all-new water-cooled R1200R roadster and revealed there will be three versions available in the UK.
The new R1200R has the new liquid-cooled 1170cc boxer twin first seen in the R1200GS in 2012 which has now been fitted to almost all of the R1200 range. The R1200R will be available from February 7, 2015 as part of the BMW Motorrad UK New Season launch in dealers across the UK.
Three distinct models will be available, each with a different paintscheme and a selection of factory fit options as standard. The R1200R is available from £10,250 on the road.
BMW states: “BMW offers special edition models to take advantage of even better value packages of accessories and factory-fit options, and to improve residual values for used bikes in the future. Customers can also specify their own additional options to create a truly bespoke motorcycle.
“A comprehensive range of BMW Motorcycle Equipment is available for the R 1200 R, ranging from luggage options including panniers, top box and tank bag, through to the BMW Navigator V GPS system, screens and an Akrapovic Sports Silencer.”
