Five years after the launch of the four-stroke RS4 125 sportsbike, Aprilia has taken the wraps off the Tuono 125.
The new Tuono 125 is powered by the same 124cc DOHC single-cylinder four-stroke engine as features in the RS125 (see below) and comes installation-ready for Aprilia's Quick Shift system - the same system as used on the Tuono V4 1100.
The new Tuono is Euro4 compliant, and as such comes with ABS as standard. The new Tuono 125 can be connected to a smartphone via the AMP ECU accessory to display information on your phone screen. The multifunction display can be controlled by handlebar-mounted controls and includes a lap timer with memory for upto 20 laps.
Braking is taken care of by a 300mm steel disc at the front, with a 220mm disc at the rear.
New Aprilia RS125
The RS4 125 is renamed the RS125 for 2017, to celebrate 25 years of the RS model. In much the same vein as the Tuono 125, the RS125 is styled the same as Aprilia's flagship superbike, the RSV4.
As well as being brought into line with Euro4 regulations, the RS125 also has room for a USB port, so you can charge your device while riding, and now comes with a storage compartment that can hold a tablet as large as 6".
