Aprilia refreshes their 125 range to bring the RS, Tuono, RX and SX through Euro5+

Aprilia have given their geared 125 range a tickle for 2025, upgrading the four-bike line-up with a smattering extra technology and a cosmetic refresh to sharpen them up.

The single-cylinder, four-valve, liquid-cooled motor powering the quartet has now been overhauled to meet Euro5+ standards

In terms of performance, there’s 14.8bhp at 10,500rpm and 8.5lb.ft at 8500rpm to play with – which puts the Italian machines at the limit of CBT and A1 licence restrictions.

The sportier pair in the foursome, the RS125 sportsbike and Tuono 125 naked continue to use the same aluminium twin spar frame as before – making them the only bikes in their class not to use cheaper steel kit.

Despite their modest outputs, both also get traction control and ABS at both ends. They come with upside-down forks, aluminium swingarms, radially mounted front brakes, and LED lighting all-round.

Colour choices for each are now Kingsnake White or Cyanide Yellow for the RS, and Viper Yellow or Mamba Grey for the Tuono.

Aprilia’s other two learner offerings continue to come in the form of the 17in wheel equipped SX125 supermoto, or the 18/21in wheel shod RX125 dual sport. Both now sport LED lights at either end and enjoy a full-colour display.

The pair make use of the same steel frame and suspension, with the sole contrasts being the aforementioned wheel size difference, plus changes to braking hardware, with the supermoto featuring a larger front disc and caliper, with a vented rotor out back.

The RX, on the other hand, features a smaller wavy disc up front and a solid rear disc for reduced pad wear in the dirt. Both machines come in Cubozoa White or Varanus Black. Prices and availability are yet to be announced.
