Incoming Morbidelli T125X brings adventure bike appeal to the next generation for under £4000

Chinese owned Italian bike brand Morbidelli are launching a new learner-friendly 125 adventure model to the UK market this summer, priced at an accessible £3299 plus OTR charges.

The Morbidelli T125X is new for 2025, having been launched at last November’s EICMA trade show in Milan. It’s set to arrive in UK dealers from June this year and will be distributed by well-established firm, MotoGB.

Designed to attract a next generation of adventure enthusiasts, it sits at the very bottom of Morbidelli’s all-terrain offering, having also recently launched a pair of 997cc V-twin T1002V models for the very upper end of the market, both priced at under £9000.

Powering the T125X is a liquid-cooled 124cc four-stroke, single-cylinder engine producing a claimed 14bhp at 9500rpm, and 8.1lb.ft at 7600rpm. Protected by a modest bash plate, it’s a 4v DOHC unit paired with a six-speed gearbox, and can be ridden at 17 on an A1 licence, or with a CBT certificate.

“The Morbidelli T125X represents the perfect balance of agility and technology for those who want to explore both the city and adventurous trails,” Global CMO of Keeway Group (owners of Morbidelli) Dante Bustos said. “It’s a lightweight and versatile motorcycle designed to meet the needs of the most demanding Trail riders.”

Whilst those are some very bold claims – especially given the bike’s performance characteristics – it does come dressed in a spoked 19in front and 17in rear wheel with a two-piston caliper and disc brake set-up at both ends.

Suspension comes courtesy of non-adjustable 41mm upside down forks, and a preload adjustable monoshock – offering 177mm of travel up front and just 55mm at the rear. Conventional ABS also features at either end, however cannot be disabled for off-road escapades.

Elsewhere, the bike is fed via an 11.7-litre fuel tank, with the vital information displayed to the rider on a portrait-mounted colour LCD display. Claimed top speed comes in at a modest 62mph, with an 820mm seat height and skinny proportions likely to be manageable for most new riders.

MotoGB have now also confirmed that a more road focussed F125 naked bike will be arriving at the same time as the T125X.
