Three-wheeled fun! Yamaha give their commuter-focussed Tricity 125 a techy overhaul for 2025

Yamaha’s commuter-focused Tricity 125 has been treated to a tech overhaul for 2025, gaining a new dash, tweaked bodywork, and a Euro5+ compliant motor.

Up front, the three-wheeler gains a new 4.2in TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing owners to access turn-by-turn navigation, control music, check the weather, and view call/text alerts via Yamaha’s MyRide app.

The 125cc Blue Core motor remains, with power output unchanged. This unit has now been updated to meet Euro5+ standards, however, while retaining the previous model’s fuel-saving stop-start system.

Elsewhere, unified brakes are now standard, and there’s a USB-C charger added to the under seat storage compartment. Priced at £4801, the Tricity will be available from July in green, white or grey.
