1 of 1

Max resolution: 4K @ 30fps, 1080p @ 120fps
Weight: 114g
Size: 51.7mm high, 24.4mm wide, 89mm deep

What’s in the box? Waterproof housing, liveview remote, adhesive mount

Battery: 1240mAh, removable

Angle of view: 170°

Key features: Image stabilisation, Carl Zeiss lens, liveview remote, slow-motion, time-lapse, manual control

Ease of use: Poor display of functions, complicated to use

Ease of mounting: Good range of mounts but all sold as extra parts, tripod thread

Quality: Superb quality image

Sound: Good, sharp sound

Best for: Those looking for ultimate control and a professional image. The Sony is the professional choice here.

Its ability to control settings (exposure and white balance) manually is a real benefit to those serious about getting the best possible footage, although this complicates things for most of us. It needs its bulky casing to be waterproof. Superb image quality and deals with contrast well. Wrist mounted remote with liveview is really useful.
