What’s good about the TCX Lady X-Boulevard boots?
From first wear these have been comfortable, both on and off the bike, taking very little breaking in. I’m riding a Harley-Davidson Street 750 this year so I need a boot with a raised heel to stop my feet slipping forward on the pegs, and these are ideal for that job.
And what’s not?
I'm always nervous of short boots as they don’t feel quite as robust or protective as a full-length boot. They also don’t have a gearchange pad so they look rather tired on the left boot already. The zips are sturdy and the gusset substantial, however, in torrential downpours my feet have ended up sodden, despite the boots being sold as waterproof.
