Product review: Draggin' Ladies Twista Jeans

Miles used: 2000 miles

These CE approved skinny-fit riding jeans are made from heavy-duty denim with reinforced, invisible seams. They have a full mesh liner and Kevlar panels at the bottom, hip and thigh.

There are well-positioned pockets for knee armour (armour is not supplied, if you shop around you can get this for free). Tapered legs give them a stylish look and they fit perfectly with short riding boots.

They look good and not too ‘bikey’ but I find them too bulky to wear all day in the office. As with all riding jeans I’ve tested, the sizing is a bit of an issue. I’d recommend you try a variety of pairs to ensure the correct fit and don’t be embarrassed by what the label says, you will end up in a larger size than you’d expect.

I’ve found the pockets to be worse than useless, they’re so shallow you can’t risk putting anything in them. At £220, they’re not cheap but the quality of the material is good and there’s no uncomfortable internal seams or scratchy velcro patches.

They wash well in a normal load, too.
