Product review: Bull-It Mens Vintage 17 SR6 Easy SP120 Regular jeans
These Bull-It Mens Vintage 17 SR6 Easy SP120 Regular jeans are fast becoming my go-to protective trousers for everyday riding.
After three months and 3500 miles, they have proven to be all-day comfortable on any type of bike I’ve tried and offer abrasion resistance to AAA standard (70mph).

They now also offer hard protection in the knees and hips, thanks to the addition of CE2 Phantom Armour, retailing at £33.99.
The straight-cut design means that they sit snugly over sports boots and on even the most extreme of bikes with the sportiest riding positions, they don’t ride up your legs like other pairs I’ve tried.
Although I am yet to try them in heavy rain, the shower-resistant finish works well, keeping my legs dry during a few brief showers I’ve ridden through.
Specialist material woven into the fabric also ensures your legs stay cool during warm spells and warm during colder rides. The only thing letting these jeans down is the price and at a penny shy of £150 before you’ve paid out for any armour, these are undeniably expensive.
