Product Review: Halvarssons Supreme gloves
Halvarssons Supreme gloves, £59
Time tested: Three months/400 miles
What’s good? From the moment I tried these gloves on they felt comfortable, with soft supple leather on the outer and an almost fleece-like lining inside the gloves, which is incredibly soft and means they can be worn much further into winter than most, and a waterproof lining adds practicality. The tab of extra leather on the inside of the wrist is a smart little feature and gives you something to grab onto to pull the gloves on securely. The all-black design is subtle if you’re not into bright colours and the knuckle armour is substantial without digging into my hands.
What’s not? These are too short for me – barely covering the balls of my wrists – whereas many other short gloves I’ve worn extend a little further. If you’re wanting something that offers plenty of venting these aren’t for you.
