Helmet review: Shark RSR2 Carbon
Shark RSR2 Carbon Helmet, £439.99 (£291.99 in the MCN Shop)
Miles covered/time: 2000/two months
What’s good? I crashed and I’m not any more stupid than I was before. I’m not any uglier either. Win.
As you can see from the marks I landed pretty hard on the side of my head and I hardly felt it. It took quite a serious blow head-on as well.
Even before I crashed I was impressed by the build quality, comfort and all-round fit of the helmet.
Swapping the visors was easy, too, and could be done faster than you can say ‘fixed penalty notice’. I’d trust this helmet again.
What’s not? The visor can be swapped easily but it also seems to work itself loose quite fast – although this might just be me being a berk and not attaching it properly.
