Jacket review: RevIt Zodiac

1 of 1

RevIt Zodiac leather jacket, £299
Miles covered: 4500/six months

What’s good? This is the jacket I rode to work in most days last summer and with some careful cleaning and the odd massive dousing with rain, it still looks fresh.

It will cope with a range of temperatures thanks to a removable thermal lining which is surprisingly good at keeping the chill out and I can wear while doing a bit of lunchtime shopping without drawing attention thanks to the classic design.

Two big outside pockets and some inside make this very practical for everyday riding.

Despite the retro looks the protection from shoulder and elbow armour is the latest spec.

What’s not? The cuffs are a bit too wide for me so I can get a bit of windblast up the sleeve, which is nice in summer but not ideal when colder.
