Furygan Titan Jacket
Time tested: 4000 miles/nine months
What’s good? The jacket looks good and feels comfortable. It comes with CE-approved body armour as standard although I have fitted upgraded pads in the shoulders and elbows. It was easy to do as the pockets are easily accessed via Velcro strips. The pockets are good and there’s a waterproof inner pockets for mobile phones. The reflective strips work well and there are zips that open and close vents. It has kept me pretty warm in sub-zero temperatures and does not get too hot and sweaty when the heat is on as there’s a zip-out lining.
What’s not? It is not waterproof. Not at all. In a heavy downpour it keeps the wet out for about half-an-hour and then I can feel it seeping in. After a recent two-hour ride in, admittedly, atrocious conditions I was completely soaked.
